In the de-escalation of any and every potential volatile situation whenever possible and that the application of deadly force should be the last resort.
That we have an obligation to provide you with the best training available and thus should consistently train ourselves constantly in new and better methods.
That good, honest, hard-working persons should have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to survive any critical incident and collateral damage be minimal.
